Oh now that can't be right. I've stood next to Vincent Price and had to look down to meet his eye, and I'm only around 6'2".
Hal, maybe you were walking on air, meeting such an icon? IMDB seems to confirm Lee's comment. It lists Price at 6'4" and Lee at 6'4 and 1/2" (And if you see them standing together in films, or photos, from SCREAM AND SCREAM AGAIN or HOUSE OF LONG SHADOWS, it's pretty even. (But, as was pointed out, people do shrink or stoop with age.) When I saw Price, he was up onstage, so I wasn't able to put him in perspective to me. (I'm right at 6')

And while this topic has not come up yet, I would like to say that I can think of no better person to portray the Napolean of Crime than Ian McKellan

My understanding--and I invite correction if I am wrong--is that Brett's bloated appearance in the later episodes was literally due to bloat. The medicine he was taking for his heart caused him to retain water. Regrettable, but not his fault.

Interesting ideas - but, though I sometimes like Brannagh a lot, I don't see him as the Napoleon of Crime.
