Disney's Halloween Hall-O-Fame with Jonathan Winters aired in October 1977 and every Halloween season for the next five years or so, before it was replaced
by a new version, with a talking pumpkin on a table. This first version was far superior in my book, and it was the one that first exposed me to "The
Legend of Sleepy Hollow," as well as the classic spooky cartoons I hae come to love.
Although the elements they showed were edited down, they gave me a desire to see all of them and I began to collect them individually from various sources. Recently though, I came across my old worn videotape I had made in the early 80's of this special. I was thrilled, I forgot I had it on tape, commercials and all.
I immediately made a DVD of it and treasure it now, and will have it to watch each Halloween. The framework of Jonathan Winters and the way it's all put together takes me back, even though I still watch the individual cartoons in high quality also. It's just seeing them in the context as I did so many years ago (even though the quality is low), that makes it special.
Anyone else remember seeing it?
I am putting together a blog entry on it, and all I can find is ONE photo of Winters being made up as Jack O'Lantern. Anyone else have any images of this to contribute for the blog entry?

My blog is at www.SweetSkulls.com. I recently posted a long entry about Disney's Skeleton Dance!
