This is one of the last frames afer Patty Duke has said " Just a short gane. It won't take long. Hmmm?" and then Lansing responds " Just a short game."The implication is that he is about to make her his next victim, nothing to suggest it won't happen. Then there is a cut in the film, to the scene with the reporters. This is the You Tube video it was taken from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssWfatLEasg&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PLFB37E14DD5FE6462http://monsterkidclassichorrorforum.yuku.com/topic/2859?page=1 post 5 Tom Weaver<< First, does he actually kill Patty Duke? <<We later see a wreath, a mourning thing, on the door of Patty Duke's house so, yeah, he does.In this You Tube version, the scene with the wreath on the door is not there.Odd that some versions would have it, and some wouldn't. Can someone who has the scene with the wreath post a screen capture of it?I'm wondering if the body of the young girl would have grown in size during the aging process that resulted in her death to that of an adult , or would there have been a child's body that was old? And how the familywould have made the identification under these circumstances?
