DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE (1968) This list is based on how much I enjoy the film, not Mr. Lee's performance. If that was the case, DR. TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS would certainly get a look-in for the wonderful "creeping hand" segment.

I tried to balance what I thought are his best films with what are his best or most satisfying performances. I think he's great in Curse Of Frankenstein and Scream Of Fear, but they are limited supporting roles. Whereas his Blind Pew in Treasure Island, while only taking up a few minutes of screen time, was something truly extraordinary. On the other hand, I'm one of (evidently) about eight people on earth who like Dracula 1972. And I've never gotten to see "Scars." So that should make five. 6. The Mummy 7. Castle of the Living Dead 8. Uncle Was A Vampire (I know it's considered a dreadful horror comedy, but I like it, and even if I didn't, it's about the first thing with him I ever saw. Either it or "Castle.") 9. The Skull (though Cushing certainly steals THAT one) 10. Curse of Frankenstein Others I'd LIKE to include are Dr. Terror, Brides of Fu Manchu (more because of how early I saw it than other reasons), and The Crimson Cult (a lot of people consider it too much a stereotyped arty " ' 60s" film to like ; I like it for those same reasons). Also "Meet The Stupids." (How can you NOT like seeing Christopher Lee up against Tom Arnold and Bob "Captain Kangaroo" Keeshan?)
