I'm a Believer.
Never let it be said I don't ever change my stance on things and come right out and say so. Because after resisting online ordering for a long time I am now ADDICTED to Amazon.com.
At first it began only by ordering those impossible-to-find rarities I was forced into selecting that were not stocked in stores anymore. But I've gotten to the point where I love the ease of clicking away and not leaving the house and going on a wild goose chase, and of getting a surprise package when I get home from work.
I am ordering all the time. Best of all, I get free shipping and still Amazon often delivers them quickly. AND THE SAVING$!! -- so many of these online purchases are cheaper than I'd spend if I went to the store. Of course, the trick is to try and not let that credit card back up mightily!
So far I was only unlucky a couple of times... once they forgot to ship the order or something; but another time I received 2 DVDs the same day and BOTH were off the hub, rattling 'round inside. In this case the DVDs were packed in a yellow manila envelope; I've usually gotten the discs mailed in Amazon's sturdier cardboard box form. Which also begs the question -- why do orders often get split into different shipments? Is it because the stock is located elsewhere?
