PEOPLE had a big cover for Beyonce getting married (oh boy!) and ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY chose to focus on whoever that comediene is (forgot her name). At least Chuck got a tiny photo on the side of the PEOPLE cover; on EW, all he got was a tiny wording on the bottom: "Charlton Heston Tribute"...
Well, at least he made the cover of THE ONION

Music lovers will still be listening to the Beatles and Elvis and not Hootie and the Blowfish or Beyonce. 50 years, 100 years or 1000 years, when people look back to the first 100 years of film, George Clooney's name will be tagged with his main achievement, " son of Rosemary." --CadillacPat the Uncustomizer--

Comparing Clooney and Oswald. That is beyond. I can't believe it, but I'm offended for George Clooney. It's hardly the same thing. Really Jeffrey. That was uncalled for. Even the original poster, Mummified Remains allowed as how the comparison was extreme.

Business Manager Charged With Embezzling From Heston A business manager has been charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from late Hollywood actor Charlton Heston and famed TV producer Stephen J. Cannell. Sharon Walker was arrested on Monday in California and charged with two counts of grand theft by embezzlement, three counts of forgery and five counts of filing false tax returns. The 56-year-old, who worked for a business management company, allegedly swindled more than $157,000 from Heston, who died last week, and over $567,000 from Cannell, creator of hit TV shows including The Rockford Files and The A-Team. Los Angeles District Attorney's office released a statement accusing Walker of forging signatures to pay off her credit card debt. She faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted of all charges.

The newsticker in the Toronto subway said she'd been charged with illegally embezzling, which just makes it seem worse, somehow. Maybe in Hollywood, you have to make that distinction?

I think Clooney has sufficiently proved his worth no matter what his "in" was. He's given strong performances, and displayed a fair amount of range in Syriana, Solaris, Oceans 11, Oh Brother Where Art Though?, & Michael Clayton; and I was not ready to buy into him at all when he first started moving from TV to film.

Agreed. I like both Clooney and Heston. As a fallible, imperfect human myself, I can't in good conscience hold either man's stupid mistakes -- a poor joke in very bad taste; blatant disregard for the sensitivity of the Columbine Massacre -- against them.
