I ran across one US release of it that streeted July 2007 and was a triple feature DVD including The Terror, Carnival of Souls, and Revenge of the Zombies. The Terror is a very bad print, Carnival is from a tape, and WTF... Revenge of the Zombies is in widescreen!?!? and is hard to watch in some places. Any idea where they got this butchered print from - meaning widescreen when it isn't, cutting off tops and bottoms? Any word if there will be a better US release of this and why one hasn't shown up yet outside of Region 2? Not even Alpha has this one from what i can see? Eric

It's a Monogram picture. Mick Martin & Marsha Porter's DVD & Video Guide say it Veda Ann Borg "in her best role." It would be nice if MGM put out a poverty row "quadruple feature" DVD with top-quality transfers of THE APE, KING OF THE ZOMBIES, REVENGE OF THE ZOMBIES and FACE OF MARBLE, but I ain't holding my breath for that to happen . . .

I believe it's directed by the same guy who directed DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS, twenty years later, Steve Sekely.

Indeed, it looks terrific, surprisingly so, for such a low budget film of this era. It's not bad A solid little one hour programmer, that makes for good, late night fun. I think I'll transfer it to DVD-R, as who knows when or how MGM will release this on DVD.
