And speaking of Roger, it reminds me of Corman's DAY THE WORLD ENDED, but with slightly more "production value", i.e. you get to see remnants of *civilization* ( a la OMEGA MAN, etc.), and the house they hole up in is by Frank Lloyd Wright (a la HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL). Great film to watch at 3:00 a.m., when the rest of the world is "asleep".

For what it's worth, that's pretty much the way I see it, too. It stars William Phipps, another plus, and it's filmed in an interesting Frank Lloyd Wright house, reportedly owned by Oboler.
