As a reference? What kind of #$%^ing %^&hole analogy is that!? A horrific real life event compared to a popcorn fantasy film? Dude, are you for real. 259 real human beings destroyed, and their families, and you compare them to fiction? Libya ostracized? I seen dopey arguements over who's right and wrong over FANTASY on this board, but I have NEVER read anything that pissed me off like that. You should be suspended from this board for your insensitivity.
I would have thought on a horror board the participants would have somewhat stronger stomachs. Maybe I'm just jaded from having actually met investigators of Lockerbie, having toured reconstructed crashed jetliners, and investigated multiple fatality accidents as part of my day-job.

I was looking for something in recent history that involved a short period of mass murder on the order of hundreds of people. Maybe Anders Brievik is a better example -- his 77 murders were international news and his trial continues to be. Regardless, anyone who has gotten near 100 ongoing murders generates widespread news. It's an odd plot hole to have, but it's an odd movie.
