Skeleton was full of great lines that I can't remember because the next great line came along too fast. Dark and Stormy Night was excellent. Really, really liked that one! Aug 18 10 9:30 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I received my copies of both dvds from Amazon yesterday (didn't know about the PUB offer at Shout Factory...blast!) and watched 'em last night. I enjoyed them and really appreciate the effort that Doc Armstrong and company put forth to create these entertainments. Dark and Stormy Night was particularly impressive. Great stuff!

I can't wait to visit a jungle now so I can point at a stock-footage crocodile and watch monkeys give things to each other. And it's good to know that portions of the jungle are in color! And yes, it's true, you can't WALK in a real jungle without seeing stock footage. I was surprised. I highly recommend the experience. I like GUMBY. Early GUMBY = very strange.

I think what made it so great, is it's played out straight. I bought an indy film recently called Isle of the Damned, made up to look like an Italian cannibal film, and while I think it is good, if it had been played out stright, I think it would have been swesome.

They both had slipped my mind, but Martin Arlt raved about them when I ran into him at Chicago Comic Con, so into the queue they go! To my Horror, though, they both have the "very long wait" heading by them!!! This is not good news, as BLOOD CREEK had that same dang wait time, and it took me almost 9 months to finally get the thing! So, I sit patiently awaiting these two gems.
