Hey there -
Not sure how many of you are Monsters HD subscribers...but I thought I'd mention how upsetting their new programming pattern is. Before this weekend films were placed in themed blocks and built in intensity throughout the day. Though the films repeated often, sometimes twice or three times in a 24 hour period, it got out of control this weekend. The new style is to show two films repeated for 12 hours at a time...making the channel unwatchable for most of the day. Literally every single time I tuned in over the weekend they were showing "Return of the Living Dead"...which is one of my favorites, but can only watch it once a day. You would think a network based on one fan base would understand that people want to leave the tv on, all day sometimes, even just playing in the background...and the old themed blocks and marathons were perfect for that. Lets face it, "Children of the Corn 4" kinda stinks...but put it in a marathon block with 5 other COTC flicks and you've got one hell of a time! Anyway, I tried posting on their message boards, but it seems that they are screening the posts and it never made it online. I sent emails to both Voom and it's parent company Rainbow Media...here are the links if you want to go all hippie-protest type on me!
