But here is my list(which will change next week): 1.THE VAMPIRE BAT 2.BLUEBEARD 3.DEVIL BAT 4.STRANGLER OF THE SWAMP 5.VOODOO MAN 6.KING OF THE ZOMBIES 7.THE CORPSE VANISHES 8.DEAD MEN WALK(mostly for nostalgic reasons) 9.THE MONSTER MAKER 10.SCARED TO DEATH Another one I don't consider a "legit" pov row outing is DARK EYES OF LONDON, which was only released by Monogram in the states, not made by them. I can't help but wonder if the list is tilted by those who are of a younger generation and only exposed to these titles after the introduction of VHS and DVD or avid movie buffs who can honestly place these titles head and shoulders above the rest? Perhaps those topping the list are there not because they've seen home video release and are more widely available; but rather because they are indeed the best, which in turn is why they've seen home video release and are more widely available.

Nov 7 07 4:56 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	For me, it's more that these are pretty much the ones I saw on TV in the 1960's and 70's. And if a film does have monsters, then it goes up higher on my list, because I'm primarily a Monster Movie fan. The Republic Horrors (which I exculded) I didn't see until the video tape era --save for The Vampire's Ghost, which used to turn up on TV fairly often. The Cat Man of Paris and Valley Of The Zombies are fun, slickly made little programers.

Though it holds some truths, keep in mind that since the DVD era, there has been a widely available glut of cheapie PD discs out there of many titles. Take for example those 50, 100, or even 250 movie box sets. Alpha, Madacy, and the likes who are readily available (though mostly terrible) and many obscure titles included. I know, I am the proud... hmmm, yes, I guess that is the word?????? owner of many of these bottom of the barrel stinkers. Eric
