Heuvelmans makes mention in ITWOTSS that it's more or less the oceanic version of On the Track of Unknown Animals, which is basically his book of unknown terrestrial animals, and that he was working on a third book for freshwater cryptids. Does anyone know if this was published at all, maybe in French? I'm big on cryptozoological literature, and the prospect of there being unpublished works by Heuvelmans always frustrated me, that guy was great. As for the film, I'd never heard of it till now. Gonna have to track that down.
