Yes, Hal, he posted here under Shockdoc. We traded some emails. I think it's great Kay Kyser is being recognized. I think You'll Find Out is coming on TCM the 3rd week in November..

When it started up I was thinking, "Ish Kabibble? What kinda ..." But it hooked me in right away. Maybe I was in the mood for it but it reminded me of MEET THE BARON crossed with BLACK CAT (1941). MEET THE BARON was mainly Jimmy Durante and Jack Pearl's show with the Three Stooges in bit parts. The movie was also sprinkled with song and dance numbers that I figured I woulda' hated but instead fell in love with. Same thing happened with YOU'LL FIND OUT. I rolled my eyes for the first two seconds then was sorry when it was over that there wasn't more. Not an A picture but a very fun enthusiastic B+. It's funny with all these classic sets released on DVD I find myself enjoying the breezy goofy horror movies the most, stuff like HORROR ISLAND and ZOMBIES ON BROADWAY. YOU'LL FIND OUT was a real treat, I wasn't expecting much going in but I had a ball watching it.

I think much of the resentment stems from the simple fact that Karloff, Lugosi, and Lorre all appear together, but they're wasted in a silly musical comedy and their roles aren't even very big. In fact, that's what I thought when I was a kid. However, YOU'LL FIND OUT has grown on me over the years, and now it's a big favorite of mine. In short, I'd like to stand up for this foolish flick. Any other opinions?

There's discussion of this movie's use of the KONG models in the Kong folder, under this topic: http://monsterkidclassichorrorforum.yuku.com/reply/490119#reply-490119

Her brother, Robert Parrish, was an actor and director, and wrote a couple of interesting books, GROWING UP IN HOLLYWOOD, and HOLLYWOOD DOESNT LIVE HERE ANYMORE. To complete the circle, one of the last things she did was play Lumpy Rutherford's mother on a BEAVER episode, which was (I think) directed by YOU'LL FIND OUT director David Butler.
