I was Ten years old, that day, and I'll NEVER forget it. Jack Kennedy was the first President I'd ever seen and heard. Our school had Half Days on Friday, and my Mom always used the extra time to go Grocery shopping. I still remember the little Market where we shopped, with large pictures of the Pope, and President Kennedy. The TV was on, and suddenly, "It" happened right in front of our eyes. You don't forget when your 10 year old world blows up in your face.

You don't forget the first time you hear the rhythmic wail of Keening, from the Grocer's wife.

Lastly, you NEVER forget watching a Funeral...safe in the crook of your Dad's arm, and watching two small children who had that taken from them.

You Bet I remember.
