A drive-in viewing of YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE was my first Bond movie, and OHMSS was the first brand new one I got to see in the theater so I still get the old excitement from it. And what a grand blockbuster action flick it was to me as a kid, in addition to its more emotional elements. Being an "Avengers" fanatic didn't hurt, either. Nowadays it pains me that Connery didn't stay on for just this last great Bond film. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER would've made a better Lazenby Bond, if not an appropriate debut for Roger Moore.

Legend, oh legend, the third wheel legend...always in the way.
