So from '78 to '98?

I enlisted and went through Lackland in '82  - so I came in during your second enlistment.

I did ten years ('82 thru '92) and then went into the Air National Guard in '94.

From '94 thru '04 I was in the ANG. I crosstrained from Aircraft Weapons to Intelligence in '96/'97.

'96 was the same year I made Technical Sergeant and that as well as Buck Sergeant were my favorite enlisted ranks.

I was a TSgt for 8 years!

In '04 I put in for a commission with the Reserve - and so here I am, nearly ten years later.

Factoring my IRR time its been over 30 years!

I know the late Major Joe Redfield was an Air Force veteran as well (retired). I wonder how many Monster Kids we have from the other branches? That should be the subject of another thread . . . I suspect there's a lot of veterans. Two of my best friends from High School and my brother wore the Blue Beret - and they all left after they did their four years. The photographer job sounds fantastic (I've always envied those guys - especially the ones who get to fly in different aircraft) but the last job you chose probably helped you find a more lucrative job in the civilian world so I understand that decision.

I see your next issue will be a cover feature on HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN. I honestly don't know how you are going to top this issue - the cover alone is so compelling I look at it every day!
