Though I also have the Classic Media DVD of GODZILLA VS. MOTHRA, I'm still holding onto my old Simitar DVD of the film, since the latter has the U.S. cut of the film in full 2.35:1 Tohoscope ratio (albeit non-anamorphic), while the Classic Media anamorphic version has it semi-cropped to 1.78:1 (Classic Media's rendition of the Japanese cut is fully 2.35:1 enhanced widescreen).

Hopefully, if the owners of the film capitalize on the 2014 film with a Blu-ray edition, they'll try to rectify the semi-cropping problem with the U.S. version. I'd love to be able to finally dump the old Simitar disc, in that situation.
I was wondering about aspect ratio.  I can only find a few of the films online where the ratio was listed and it each case it was 2.35:1.  Which films were released in Tohoscope and were there any other ratios?

So it sounds like Tristar/Sony DVDs are all released in the original Japanese cut of the films in the correct 2.35:1 ratio, with international English subtitles or international English dubbing.  Is that correct?
