My perception is that more and more movies strike me as video games because of their visual execution.  I get an eerie feeling that I should be holding a game controller while watching these movies.  That said, I don't disagree.  Actually, they both feed off one another, each one presenting their own innovations that the other can employ, the back and forth bringing them closer and closer together.
