It seems to me that a couple of matches in describing similar material could be coincidental.  However, when enough evidence mounts, as in the Spiderbaby case, it strains the probabilities.

It might be interesting to set up an experiment: What if a moderator -- or a delegate -- asked all of us to summarize in n words the first x or last x minutes (or some part) of some film well-known to our crowd.  We'd have to post them at a given time, without first reading any of the others. 

I wonder if we'd get any duplication that would suggest plagiarism?  How much would we get?  It could be fun.
