Truth be told, I found the examples in the Emmanuelle article minor compared to the wholesale examples of plagiarism she committed repeatedly elsewhere.

Maybe that was because Tim worked with her on the piece rather than just printing what she submitted.

But again, I am not condoning even minor lifts of other material. Nor is anyone 'above suspicion.'

Our concern here is grouping authors together into one hellbox (an old newspaper term), of everyone-is-a-plagiarist where context and scale gets lost.

And posts that target people but include disclaimers like, 'If I'm wrong, my apologies,' inherently reveal other motives. To my mind, at least.
