Ha!  When I had my (first) problem with UPS, I spoke to at least 3 supervisors/managers on different occasions.  Eventually I wrote to their main office, to the president or CEO or whatever.  Just a few days later I got a call from the manager of the local office, apologizing for my troubles.  He sounded like the most fatigued person I had ever spoken to.  He also sounded like he was about to cry.  He "sorry-ed" me over and over and over, almost begging to be allowed to do something to make things right.  Too late, I told him.  I'd already been through hell with those people.  I told him the best he could do for me would be to go out of business so I'd never have to deal with them again.

Since then, I've avoided them at all costs.  Still, I've had two or three UPS deliveries come to me and I've had difficulties, to one degree or another, with every single one of them.  Part of this, I know, comes with the territory (literally) since I live in an apartment in mid-town Manhattan.  Still...if you have difficulty dealing with a large urban area...don't do business there.

If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.                                                                                     Dorothy Parker
