The 2004 TV movie "Frankenstein" was intended to be a series. I don't know the details of what happened, but it never got beyond the pilot film. I have not seen the movie but did read the script when it was presented. It dealt with the monster, 200 years on and his creator who devised a way of keeping himself immortal. Dr Frankenstein had also created minions with 2 hearts who harvested replacement organs for him. The Dr was the "bad guy" and the Monster was working with a reporter (I think) to stop him.

Anyhoo, it didn't fly. Whatever is done to keep the Monsters viable, I would like to see at least some respect for the classic origins.
