I can't recall reading about the jumbling of scenes, I would love to see the movie out in its proper order....

What about how that is presented in "True Blood?" There we have instances of, "I rescind my invitation to you..." At that point the vampire is whisked out of the house by an invisible force. I don't recall reading such in the Stoker novel, so that probably would not be an option in Drac's 1931 world....

And pondering it a bit, isn't the reverse true as well? Doesn't Louis Jordan (a great interpretation of the story IMHO) and possibly Gary Oldman each invite Jonathon Harker to enter the castle of their own free will? Our dear Renfield should have figured something was amiss when Drac walks up the steps and doesn't disturb the cobwebs that he has to break apart with his walking stick. Ah, those of us with weak minds.... Or perhaps just greed at a real estate sale clouds the facts.

Isn't this a strange conversation for men who...aren't...crazy?
