I really liked the show. It was one of FOX's first shows in their initial broadcast as a new network, along with MARRIED WITH CHILDREN (which I hate), THE TRACY ULMAN SHOW, DUET, NEW ADVENTURES OF BEANS BAXTER, 21 JUMP STREET and some others that didn't last long at all (KAREN'S SONG, WOMEN IN PRISON).
Out of allll those shows, the only one I watched was WEREWOLF. It was pretty entertaining in its own way. The best episodes had some real mood and scares to them, all using the man on the run template and either helped people in trouble, or got into trouble himself. There were some real clunkers, but some high points too. The few times we saw Chuck Connors as Skorzeny showed what acting chops (HA!) he had. Lance LeGault was great as a quiet but determined bounty hunter. As the 'hero' John J York wasn't in their league, acting-wise, but actually improved as the series went on (unfortunately the character was sometimes not explored by the writers). Some episodes toyed around with the format with varying degrees of success, and later they had to shake up the series big time (I won't say why). The concept was somewhat limited, but another season would have been more than welcome.
I was looking forward to the DVD release, but that got canned, so I got it another way. Rak, you should also check out some uploaded

about the making of the series.
Deep water is dark and restful and full of peace.
