Curious, is there any chance that her actions AFTER the initial apology have come at the request of Tarantino and his camp? He, a writer, is now associated with plagiarism in a way. I am sure that he would much rather have had her wait on her instant admission of guilt and apology. No matter what, he and his people had to know that he would fall into the mud in some form, so I would expect that they probably told her to take down what she had put up, and to get ready for "damage control." I would guess that the initial reaction and apology was truly her, and everything after has been the result of some very powerful lawyers and people within Tarantino's camp.

That's not the sequence.  Lianne wrote me, stating that she was "advised by my editors and legal friends" to issue the apology on Twitter and then take time away from writing.  So she was being advised before she made her online apology.
