That's what I've been saying for days. You have to wonder if this was just a means to an end (not necessarily targeting QT). It wouldn't be the first time that an attractive person feigns interest in a subject in order to worm their way into a job, club, social group etc. And, the horror and film fields are, let's face it, fertile ground for women since they have traditionally been a huge minority as far as representation.
Luckily, that is changing. But, just look at the photos that are coming out of Comic Con this week. Do you think all of the women parading around in their underwear or tight-fitting and cleavage baring leather outfits who claim they "love" the genre and are "real geek nerds" are all on the up and up? Honestly, how many of them are home on a Friday night watching grainy VHS tapes of Umberto Lenzi or Curtis Harrington films, reading back issues of Castle of Frankenstein and Cinefantastique, or hanging around these boards?

Lianne might have a slight interest in the macabre, but it wouldn't be a shock to find out that she didn't even watch the entiretly of all the films she "reviewed". With her, uh, connections, she probably had access to huge DVD collections as well as screener copies of stuff that she could fast-forward through to get the gist of the film without actually having to watch them completely.
