Well, in my humble opinion, it IS a big deal. I believe her bio on her website , which has now gone the way of the Do-Do Bird, said something about her being an writer of articles for FM, Video Watchdog, etc, etc. It would be one thing if she claimed to be an interviewer - which in a nutshell is writing questions - getting answers. But being a writer means SHE wrote something - articles in FM, etc. Now if she had said "I'm not a writer, I just copy stuff that other people have written, but my main thing is interviewing scream queen's like Hhsgasdf Kasdfsadfsafd," I wouldn't have a problem with that. Well, as long as she said who she copied and where she copied it from.

Look at good old Gary Don Rhodes. His articles and books are just plum filled with footnotes as to where information is from. Mark Miller wrote a really good piece on When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth that is chock full of notes as to where he got quotes and information from.

I would think that when she was pushing to get her book published she showed her articles to the publisher showing off her writing skills. And when (if) the book is published I'm sure the publishers would have promoted it as being written by a writer for Famous Monster, etc, etc.

But, playing devils advocate here, I do have to question where she got her questions for interviewing people. I'm sure I've heard someone else say "So tell me, where were you born?"
