Just love the idea of Scott, who seems so up against type, facing the supernatural.

Scott was on record as not liking horror films.  I think -- but it's an uncertain memory -- that he was even quoted as saying that he'd never do a horror film.  He seemed to prefer gritty, tough, realistic dramas and, especially, comedies of any stripe.  He excelled in Noel Coward's sophisticated pastries onstage, and he also was master of broad, physical comedy.

So, when he starred in THE CHANGELING, I took it to mean that it was something special, not just another spooky movie.  But...a couple of years later, when he showed up as an unlikely John Rainbird in FIRESTARTER...well, that's when I knew that the great man was getting desperate for work.

If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.                                                                                     Dorothy Parker
