DOC SAVAGE was pretty lousy, IMHO; TOM THUMB and CONQUEST OF SPACE I hope never to have to see again; THE POWER gets to be kind-of a drag; the endurance test of BROTHERS GRIMM is beyond my capabilities.

Compared to those, I think ATLANTIS is fairly decent!

Yeesh, Tom.  When you put it like that, it kinda takes some of the gloss off the Pal rep, doesn't it?

For myself...yes, DOC SAVAGE was crummy, tom thumb makes my eyes roll back into my head, THE POWER is draggy, and THE BROTHERS GRIMM...well, I saw it new, in Cinerama, when I was just 12 years old...and I didn't like it then.  But it does at least look good.

CONQUEST OF SPACE is, admittedly, pretty bad.  But I still enjoy it, Phil Foster and all.

But ATLANTIS, THE LOST CONTINENT is still bottom of the Pal barrel for me.  I find nothing in it to enjoy.  It almost makes me angry, as in, "am I expected to sit here and watch this just because it's in color?"  Because the color is the only thing I remember about it.

But I guess it's true that there's not a lot to choose from amongst these much-lesser Pal efforts.
