My first "Deanna" movie was MAD ABOUT MUSIC, in 1963. I also remember IT STARTED WITH EVE and LADY ON A TRAIN on WOR channel 9. WOR showed quite a few UNIVERSALS in the Kennedy era. Sadly, Deanna Durbin films weren't among them. I didn't see the majority of them until the early 1980s, when home video hit. It makes me wonder if Miss Durbin had some sort of liscencing agreement, and held back the rights until the "unavailability" made things more profitable. She was reported to be an extremely canny businesswoman.

God Bless You, sweet Lady..... Sleep in Peace.
