Martin Shakar was remembered as John Travolta's brother the priest in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, while Gale Garnett had one pop hit with 1964's "We'll Sing in the Sunshine." I always lumped in THE CHILDREN with FRIDAY THE 13TH-THE ORPHAN, which had nothing to do with Sean S. Cunningham. Talk about obscure titles!
Don't forget Gale belting out the theme to MAD MONSTER PARTY.

A pretty weird and terrible film that i always remembered for the pretty hilarious "Johnny..you got to cut off their haaaannddssss..that's where they're vulnerable!" line that was previously mentioned. The children themselves are never very intimidating and their method of killing (radioactive hugs!?) leaves a lot to be desired but it's a pretty watchable low key piece of work.

Kochillt, maybe you lumped this in with FRIDAY THE 13TH because Harry Manfredini basically uses the same music cues from the first in the FRIDAY series all over this film! Doesn't make things much livelier but it's fun to hear them nonetheless.
