I read an early draft of the script ("The Ghoul From Outer Space") and it is remarkably similar to the finished film. Everything prior to the nurse running down the hall in slow motion was added in a later draft, but other than that it is pretty much identical. It did not read like a comedy. So either I didn't get the humor, or Sachs is engaging in revisionist history. (Although that WOULD explain the "No crackers?" scene.) That said, I REALLY hope they get him to do a commentary for this film. Any input from Rick Baker would also be tremendously appreciated.
