Jim, when did you give up on the new FM? I ask because, IMO, since about the 100 years of Universal issue, FM has been a pretty great mag. I always look forward to each issue now.

It's unfortunate that they are having such problems w/ the digital edition, and hopefully the glue problem has been resolved once and for all - because I'd hate to see the new FM stop publishing.

Take a look at a newer issue, Jim, I think you'll be impressed.

I agree. I think the current state of the magazine is excellent. It's obvious Phil Kim and his crew have listened to the feedback over the last couple of years and have shaped the magazine accordingly. The new FM has its "voice" and is very much its own thing compared to the other horror magazines out there. I can remember the concerns when the trademark changed hands, that the magazine (and some of us weren't even sure we'd get a magazine out of this) was going to be a clone of Fangoria or Rue Morgue. The new FM is exactly what I'd imagine FM 1.0 would be had it continued from the early eighties into the present day. Its a contemporary genre magazine with some healthy nods to the past. I also appreciate the fact that classic horror has been well represented and incorporated into every issue. This was another concern from many when the title was revived and so far the new FM has not disappointed in that regard.
