They took me to the Jackie Gleason variety show in New York City and I got to hang backstage with my hero, Sid Fields who was a bit player on the show.No need to tell you this was one of the high points of my life...The guy was a sweetheart and though I was very young I knew who Mr. Fields was from the TV show...

All caught as part of the show.I might have be 7 or 8 years old at the time.I met Frankie Fontaine too, a pretty cool guy too.And Away We Go girl Elizabeth Allen kissed me on the cheek calling me cute. It wasn't until years later I realized this was the gal in 2 of my favorite Thriller episodes...It was all wonderfully surreal...
