WHAT WHAT again? 'Cardboard'?! No actor has done Vulcan (at least a half-human Vulcan) as well as Nimoy. Sorry you cant perceive his amazing performance throughout the series and films.
I would offer that nobody has done Vulcan as well as Nimoy because he created the role of a Vulcan. Everybody after was just following what he did.
