On what do you base this? Did, for example, contestants on Family Feud name Tarzan when asked to name comic book heroes? (Of course, these recent adaptations of properties non-indigneous to comic books properties from prior to 1938 usually do not gross $100 domestically at the box office, so such references on Family Feud usually fade away soon anyway.)

In any event, near as I can tell, no Tarzan film ever featured an animated opening, Tarzan in spandex, a montage shot of Tarzan comic strips or comic books, references to indigenous comic book heros, etc.
