I quite like the obvious hand puppets that pepper most of the G films up till mid 60's, but I'm perplexed as to why the Kong suit turned out as immobile as it did. If anything their Kong resembles the Snowman suit from 1954's HALF-HUMAN , but even that earlier costume manages jaw movements and is much more believable.

Eiji Tsuburaya loved the original KING KONG dearly, and had time and money allowed would had made GOJIRA in stop motion. I doubt the stop motion that does exsist is KK vs G is anything less than a homage to his beloved KING KONG.
