I had a rather crushing experience with this movie in the '60s. I saw it at the drive-in with my dad and brother in 1963 and thought it was the greatest thing I had ever seen. Then in 1966 I saw it at a theater full of kids as the second feature to the Adam West BATMAN. It now looked pretty bad and was laughed off the screen by the mostly pre-teen kids. Time has put things in perspective and I still love the movie for my earlier memories of it.
