I think Stuart Galbraith's Monsters Are Attacking Tokyo! is absolutely terrific, much better than his MacFarland book (which I had at one time). Steve Ryfle's Japan's Favorite Mon-Star is good, too (pretty much the last word on Godzilla films).

I still have not gotten my mits on the (sadly) late Guy Tucker's Age of the Gods, though I've heard good things about it, too. I was kinda' waiting on his revision that was supposed to be in the works. But with his passing, I'll probably go ahead and pick up a copy now. August, do you know where I can get one?
