And - apart for the immediate profits - what can be the motive for shooting a movie, if you know that some years later, nothing will subsist of your work ?
Even if only profits are concerned, "Yonggary" was made in 1967. In 1967, many movies were shown on television, even if commercial video didn't exist. Even at this time, it was totally inane to destroy a movie.
