I'm a big fan of the 1931 J&H.  It's a splendid film and March's Mr. Hyde is every bit as iconic as Universal's "big four" - Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man and The Mummy.

I agree 100% Penny. If March's Hyde had been a Universal film, we'd be mentioning him in the same breath as "the big four." Yet, somehow, this academy award winning performance seems to get forgotten about too often.

This version of J&H is simply incredible for the time it was produced. Truly a great and oddly under-appreciated movie. Spencer Tracy? Bah! smiley: roll
