At the moment I would say that I have more Boris Karloff pictures than any other actor at the moment in my DVD collection. Probably because I have stocked up on multi-picture DVD collections in the last year or so. After Karloff it's probably Christopher Lee or Peter Cushing, again because of the Hammer sets from Sony and Universal and a few standalone releases from Warner's of the latterday entries, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave onwards, of the Hammer Dracula series. In the old days of VHS it was probably John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, as pictures featuring Karloff, Cushing, Lee and Price were still regularly on tv (that was normal broadcast tv rather than pay-tv). Do have a fair selection of Cagney, Bogart and Robinson, thanks to getting the four Gangster collections from Warner, one of these picture also features Karloff, briefly.
