I agree! BOD does deserve a dvd release.....but, the same could be said about numerous other Hammer releases such as NIGHT CREATURES, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF and on and on. The bottom line is....would they sell? Of course this gathering would buy them, but that isn't enough to make them profitable. The powers that be dictate what will and will not make their specific studio a profit. Obviously Hammer Films is not a top priority. Until these studios relax their grip on these favorite Hammer titles, we had better hold onto our video tape copies. THE GORGON, SCREAM OF FEAR and TERROR OF THE TONGS are additional titles I would love to see on dvd. Remember when they recently released dvds on CAPTAIN KRONOS VAMPIRE HUNTER and FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM THE HELL? They almost gave them away and I suspect neither of them made Paramount enough money to warrant further excursions into Hammer's film vaults. We are, I regret, a small ripple in the sea of future dvd releases.
