I was mostly reading UK fanzines and my favourite of the lot was the always excellent, and always eclectic Shock Xpress. If anyone is interested, I wrote a short piece on the great fanzines of the 90's here

I got into Video Watchdog about 2 years ago and last year I finally tracked down every issue - which I'm very proud of. It's still the best mag on the scene, the only thing that bugs me about recent issues is Ramsey Campbell's column which I always find way too heavy on useless plot synopsis...

The classic era of Cinefantastique was a bit before my time, and I get envious when people talk about it - unlike say old Fangorias which can be picked up pretty cheaply, putting together a Cinefantastique demands deep pockets...
