Hey Clark, and everyone else,

I hate to bring this up again, but you guys really don't know what the Browning cut was like, nor do any of us know what he was thinking when he was making Dracula, unless that is, you have been communicating with him recently, and he told you exactly how he cut the film. I still find it hard to believe that Universal went away from Browning's obviously brilliant, and terrifying cut, to return it to an assembly cut, chop some dialog, and dirty stuff, then release the film. Doesn't mean this didn't happen, just hard for me to believe, since that is a lot of work to do that.

So I feel that this is not really a restoration, but a fan re-cut of the film, using the script and the Spanish Dracula as a guide, and a very good re-cut it is.
