Clark has done both. One version with only the Browning elements and another using the Melford elements to fill in the gaps.

I believe todmichel is talking about a composite version where missing dialogue scenes are added to the re-cut, such as where Prof. Van Helsing and Juan Harker discuss Lucy's death at the conclusion of the staking scene.

I toyed with the idea of cutting in missing dialogue scenes using hard-coded English subtitles, but it was a bit distracting to have the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking actors switching back and forth between scenes. I agree with todmichel that it would give us a better idea of what Browning intended, but I decided to go with something more along the lines of the re-cut of Touch of Evil.
