Best CD: Nox Arcana's The Dark Tower - As usual, Joseph Vargo and Joseph Vargo and William Piotrowski have hit yet another home run with this album of very eerie atmospheric music. It's amazing that there are so few films utilizing their amazing work in their soundtracks.

As several people here have nominated sites they contribute to, I hope it's okay that I make the following additional nominations:

Best Blog: Gravedigger's Local 16 - Since 2008, the members of GdL16 strive to cover all things Halloween and horror, both past and present. In addition to reviews of everything from DVDs to books, there are also tons of informative articles (in addition to plenty of free goodies). Did you know that a monster ties into the origins of Chinese New Year or that homemade haunted houses date back to the 1800's? You would if you visited the Local!

Best Horror Audio: 6'+ - I second Dr. Gangrene's nomination of this podcast, which features as many genres in a single episode based around a single theme as humanly possible. The annual Freaky Tiki Surf-ari episode is an absolute must listen.

Gravedigger's Local 16 - "What is he that builds stronger than either the mason, the shipwright, or the carpenter?"

6'+ (Six Foot Plus) - Musical madness (and more) from the GdL16 gang.
