After reading about it here and using the link provided I checked out this made-in-Texas obscurity and kinda enjoyed it. All the folks who pointed out its weaknesses and risible parts are correct. However it's actually better than it should be. I don't want to over-praise this poor little film but the folks who did it weren't without ability. The pacing is not good at all. The opening baton-twirling bit goes on forever. The acting is pretty mediocre  but minimally competent. Some of the dialogue ain't bad. There are a few clever bits in staging. The photography is not bad (it cries out for a 1:85 mask) and even the minimal lab set has a few nice touches. It is much better than the Larry Buchanan remakes of AIP b/w features and I suspect there might be some actual talent in some of the people involved with this film.
