I think you are painting H. Cohen with a very lite brush, the Producer/director(whatever) is entirely a different value, a lot more at risk. Spielberg has the bucks and all the
trimmings, and continues to destroy good books, poor remakes ect., maybe as Lennon seemed to find McCartney as lackluster songster, perhaps Terence Fisher being a good
director, nothing but admiration for his assignments, Herman Cohen had to risk more, with a few nice films, and a couple of duds. Corman and others also on the same
rollercoaster, I kind of admire this concept, I know the majectic caterpillar's 'who are you' smoke ring is inevitable, oh well.
